No, not OU's smashing victory (yet!)...our vacation plans! We're going back to Playa on November 3. I am beyond excited, but we booked it so late last night (think 1 a.m.-ish) that when I woke up at 6 this morning, I had a vague recollection of a fairly large credit card transaction, but I couldn't remember what I had bought. It wasn't until Mark called from work to ask if I was glad we'd finally made a decision that it sunk in...we're going to a 5-star resort on the Carribean side in a little over 3 weeks!
I know I quote this all the time, but Oprah says that "happiness is having something to look forward to," and I couldn't agree more. I mean, after a day playing dinosaurs and race cars, I break into a smile when I realize that my husband will be home from work in less than an hour and he'll be able to take over. And I get downright giddy for Thursdays, because I know "The Office" will be on. So imagine how I'm feeling now, knowing that in 3 weeks I'll be sipping Pina Coladas on a white beach under a palapas....
Oh, yeah - Go Sooners! May the Force be with you!
