Moving on...the Saturday after we came back, we hosted a co-ed baby shower for one of my best friends and her hubby. They are having a girl - the first in like 130 years on his side! - and couldn't be more excited. Me, either, since it has been FIVE YEARS since we were in their place, stupidly thinking all of our friends would follow our lead and have babies of their own. Sheesh! Either Jacob is so adorable that they just considered our son their own and wanted to dote on him alone for an eternity, or our dark-circled eyes and moneyless wallets were enough to make them wait until the last possible moment. Regardless, the two couples who we regularly hang out with have also just announced their good news, and we couldn't be happier. By the way, friends, where is your water supply, and how do I tap into it?
