He Lives!

Well, we saw the hand specialist today and he seems to think that Jacob will live. He has two fractures in his finger, not one like the ER told us, but the bones will fuse normally and everything will be hunky-dory. He even took the soft cast off, which was a bit more traumatic for my 4 year-old than yesterday's events. But three nurses, a lollipop, one specialist, a Mommy, another lollipop, and several Spiderman stickers later, I dropped Jacob off at a friend's house, where they made "mud pies" out of actual dog s@#t from the backyard. So tonight it was her turn to drink. Anyway, prayers please, for no more emergencies before our Disney trip next month!
