Venting

Know what's beyond irritating? Our weather. Out of the last 9 workdays, it has rained for 5 days. Not a big deal, I guess...unless you're TRYING TO GET YOUR HOUSE PAINTED! My goal of having our house done before this weekend isn't going to happen. We're now "that house;" as in, "when are they going to finish that house?" and "what is wrong with that house?" It's one third old, skin-colored paint, one third white primer, and one third new, beautiful paint. Very classy. The centerpiece of the neighborhood.

On top of that, I am still feeling horrible. No fever, so it's not the flu, but now I have a cough. Joy. When will my immune system learn that mommies can't get sick? Poor Jacob has been as good and patient as any 5 year-old can be, but he practically counts the minutes before he can leave me and go to school. I am no fun right now, and I'm tired of it. I was too exhausted even to watch Glee and SYTYCD last night - my two favorite shows.
