For weeks I've been seeing commercials that "Curious George Live" was coming to OKC. On a few occasions, I actually thought, "Dang! I wonder what lucky parents shelled out $49 a ticket to attend
that nail-biting, spectacular show?" Well, my life tends to take mysterious turns. On Friday, this girl I know called and said she had 4 tickets; would we like to take Jacob and a friend? Since we had nothing better to do and I'm not good at making things up on the fly, I said yes, and on Saturday morning, we put Jacob and his friend in the car and drove to the Convention Center. We then endured an hour and a half of a "musical," the majority of which I know Mark spent on Facebook. We also didn't know any better and bought the boys cotton candy before the show, so there was a lot of up/down/up/climb-on-the-rail/lay-on-the-floor/up/down/up activity going on. It was like they were on meth. Anyhow, the show finally ended and we were able to leave. We were starving, so we took them to eat and worked our way through poop songs, dancing, a glass of spilled lemonade, and a load of potty breaks. After we dropped the friend off, we all came home for naps. Ahhhh, Saturdays...
